Below are some of my dog paintings and drawings. I work from photographs and use high quality materials. I work in chalk pastel or oil - I do not fix my pastel drawings as this can change the colour but they are placed under a sheet of glassine paper and sandwiched between sheets of foamboard. Postage and packaging would be an extra charge. They do need to be framed as quickly as possible and I do recommend getting this done professionally. I will send you a simple contract and only need a 25% deposit. I then keep you informed throughout the process and if you are not 100% satisfied with the final result there is no need to pay the remainder. Pedro was a commission. It wss the first time I'd done a short haired dog in pastel - his owner loved it and said "Lucy, thank you so much again for my P portrait. Looking under brighter light I can see all the details; I love his whiskers! It’s quite mesmeric. You have captured the quintessential HRH Pedro! Luminous, fluid and vibrant style. Am delighted." Doesn't get much better than that!

Elmo Sleeping. This was our Miniature Long Haired Dachshund, Elmo. I loved to paint him! Oil on canvas.
This was a commission taken remotely and using photographs. It was 8 x 10 cm and oil on canvas. The buyer was really pleased with the painting and thought I had captured her dog's spirit and character.
These three West Highland Terriers: Myrtle, Maisie and Molly, belonged to a family member and I painted them as a gift. Oil on canvas.

This was the a dog I painted for the Artist's Anonymous Exhibition at the Fishslab Gallery in about 2017. It was the first painting I ever sold. I called it Migrant Dog. Oil on canvas.
